You may see your email to one contact, or multiple, is being opened 100's of times - how is this possible?
When reviewing the email you may have added a BCC, in this case HubSpot will produce a unique tracking number for that email. This tracking number will stay with the email if you forward it or reply to it, in which case your open count will increase.
How do I solve this issue?
The way to get around this issue is to create an email template for emails that you tend to repeat sending. This can be done through the "Conversions" tab and "Templates" sub-tab within HubSpot or from a button labelled "save" which you can find if you review your sent email.
Its important in the process that you send this email separately every time using your template so that effective email tracking can occur.
