How do I assign or remove existing Sales Hub seats?

If you have Account Access permissions in a HubSpot Sales Hub account, you can give other users access to the paid sales features included in your subscription.

Here is how to assign or remove someone in a Sales Hub seat


  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings icon settings in the main navigation bar.
  • In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Users & Teams.
  • In the upper right, click Manage Paid Users.
  • You'll see the number of purchased and assigned seats in the bottom right. To assign a seat too or remove access for a user, select or clear the checkbox next to the user.
  • Click Save.

Why does the data appear differently to Google Analytics and other platforms_

To remove users with a seat from your account, you must first remove any Sales Hub access they have.

Removing a user's Sales Hub Starter, Professional, or Enterprise seat does not delete the seat. Your HubSpot account will still have the unused Professional or Enterprise seat for assignment and you will still continue to pay for it until your next contract renewal date, even if it remains unassigned.
