What is Data Sync?

Data sync is a new, native way of connecting your business apps to HubSpot. With data sync, you can keep all your HubSpot records in lockstep with the rest of your tech stack, freeing you from hours of spreadsheet exports and imports. With data sync, you can rest assured that your customer data is always consistent and up to date.

Why do I need it?

The customer experience you offer is only as clean as the data that powers it. Your revenue teams depend on reliable qualitative data to stay efficient, but as teams expand, data cleanliness quickly becomes an afterthought. New tools arise, reps adopt systems in their own ways, and before long data issues throw a spanner in the works.

Having your ops team spend more and more time on clean-up projects does not scale. That’s where data quality automation comes in. With the new data quality actions, they can stop staring at spreadsheets and have an automated way to keep their data quality under control.

Data quality automation entails a new set of workflow in HubSpot via actions to format property values in certain ways for example; capitalising letters, fixing date properties, format names, and more. Instead of wasting human man hours to fix data, HubSpot automation via ops hub can be programmed to fix the issues for instead, saving your team time and the business money.

Programmable Automation

Programmable automation enables you to execute JavaScript code directly within HubSpot workflows and encompasses three automated actions in HubSpot:

  • a new “custom code” action in workflows
  • the “create a webhook” action in workflows and
  • custom-coded bot actions in chatflows.

How much does Operations Hub (Ops Hub) cost?

Ops Hub starts free. For no fee, you can sync dozens of your favourite apps with HubSpot. (More on that in a moment.) Operations Hub Starter unlocks additional syncing features and clocks in at $50/month; Operations Hub Professional costs $800/month.
