Why does the data appear differently to Google Analytics and other platforms?

Metrics in the Manage section of the HubSpot campaign, referring to the Email Tool manage/analyse sections, are always slightly different to the analyse section of the campaign. Also the metrics in both tabs in Hubspot are slightly different to Google Analytics.

In simple terms, HubSpot's analytics stand alone and although appear 'similar' to Google's analytics for example, HubSpot (and more frequently now days through their in platform AI) rip out a lot of the bot data and related bad click data, before it gets to your screen.

As Hubspot is just tracking the data from a Google account, why there would be a difference here?

Another concept Google ignores, which HubSpot does well since CRM is folded in, is contact data and this can sometimes be confused for Conversion rate percentages which can be confusing until you are used to understanding the HubSpot insights and how to navigate them.
We'd recommend using both Google and HubSpot tools for different purposes, although seems similar, you'll tend to rely less on HubSpot unless for example looking at a cart funnel process or requiring specific GA event or goal tracking data.
